Job Description:
Due to continued growth, IBP are currently looking to recruit a Compliance Auditor. Your role will be to provide full audit support to the SHEQ Department, taking ownership for defining, setting up and maintaining audit tasks, monitor the compliance of the operational delivery teams with management systems, Client contract requirements and specifications and the Traffic Management Act namely Chapter 8. Providing input to preparing and reviewing site audits and corrective actions etc and reporting finding to the SHEQ Manager. Liaison with Local Authorities, Highway Authorities, Clients and other 3rd Parties to manage issues in relation to SHEQ.
What will your key responsibilities be?
- To manage and process all SHEQ related audits and issues with all relevant stakeholders in the South West;
- To manage and process all customer complaints with all relevant stakeholders;
- To manage and process all damage claims received with all relevant stakeholders;
- To ensure timely input of all SHEQ related issues into Optimus.
- To manage and process all field Compliance audits with all relevant stakeholders;
- To manage and process all internal CAR’s with all relevant stakeholders;
- To ensure that all reports required by all stakeholders are distributed on time;
- Report directly to the SHEQ Manager for all aspects of Safety Environment & Quality that may affect the Company;
- To assist SHEQ Advisors in all relevant administration duties.
What competencies are we looking for?
- The Compliance Auditor requires a strong grasp of recognised best practice, risk management techniques and the UK Legal Framework supported by a thorough appreciation of health and safety within a regulated industry sector.
- The Compliance Auditor will need to show strong communication skills and the possession of well-developed skills in stakeholder engagement
- Proven, demonstrable experience in a similar Auditor role, ideally gained in a similar industry such as Telecommunications; Utilities or Construction.
- Formal Auditing experience, knowledge and qualifications required.
- Working Knowledge of fixed and mobile infrastructure networks, including but not limited to: Optical Networks / Fibre to the cabinet (FTTC) and Fibre to The Premises (FTTP) / Radio telemetry solutions / 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G base station installations (Mobile Mast Installation) / Network decommission and recovery
