Job Description:
An opportunity to join the Business Process Improvement Team, as an IT support analyst, working closely with the senior business analyst to improve operational, commercial and IT processes. This exciting role is a hybrid role and will allow the candidate to gain skills and experience areas in business process improvement, project management, and application support. This role comes with huge progression and invaluable experience within an exciting company.
The successful candidate will work with the business analysts to help collaborate with stakeholders to gather, prioritise and document requirements from the end users, and successfully guide the deployment through its life cycle. The candidate will also support BAU requests on IT systems, including setting up users, resolving/escalating bugs etc.
The main duties include but are not limited to:
- Support the business analysts in gathering and documenting requirements.
- Arrange meetings, demo sessions and training as needed
- Manage risks and issues, removing impediments where possible, and escalating where necessary.
- Escalate issues to IT developers, both onshore and offshore, and track the status of each issue.
- Provide regular updates of recurring issues to the senior business analyst.
- Manage the IT Service Desk for Salesforce BAU requests.
- Identify areas for both system and process improvements.
- Support other projects where necessary.
The Ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
- Advanced level MS Excel & MS Office skills.
- Excellent Administration Skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Team working and leadership.
- An IT background (degree related/work experience)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
- Able to show careful attention to detail.
- Outstanding organisational abilities with an aptitude for planning ahead and prioritising effectively.
- Act in the interests of the company and to responsibly identify and manage risk.
- Salesforce experience (Desirable)
- Minimum 2:1 degree from university (Desirable)
- Experience in IT implementation environment (Desirable)
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Desirable)
- Project Management tools e.g. JIRA/Monday.com (Desirable)
