We are currently recruiting for an experienced field Service Technician to work throughout the South and Midlands for a fast growing, dynamic business.
The skilled candidate will have a few years' experience of service and repair tasks and a good understanding of general building processes. A positive attitude, team spirit and a willingness to perform all necessary tasks required to get the job done is essential to the role.
The job consists of electrical servicing, fault finding and repair of all operational equipment as well as movement of equipment, shop fitting and minor general building tasks. The job requires some flexibility and can often require long days.
Full training will be provided on all aspects of the role.
The main duties include but are not limited to:
- Installation of equipment
- Electrical fault finding
- Internal building work
- Daily travel with occasional overnight stays
- Health and Safety processes
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
- Good working knowledge of electrical works and fault finding
- Experience in general building work
- Lifting and carrying of heavy goods
- Able to perform to agreed timescales and procedures
- Able to work on own initiative and to resolve issues
