After much success in the Telecoms Industry, IBP started looking for another sector to offer their customer centric approach to Recruitment, and IT seemed like the most logical choice, with an average 4% growth as an industry, and with the UK holding the second largest IT sector within Europe it definitely looks like an industry that will be a cornerstone for a post Brexit UK.
As for the Industry itself, the roughly 1.5 million workers aren’t all located around the capital, as well over 100,000 are based between Bristol and Reading, showing just how strong the M4 corridor IT market is.
This indicator of talent is what lead IBP to deciding that there is such great potential here in the South West for continued growth in this sector.
