IBP were delighted to attend another Inner flame course recently, after previously being contacted through twitter due to the charity receiving a last minute cancellation. IBP were more than thrilled to return to assist the Prince’s Trust affiliated charity with their course aimed at helping young people, who have previously struggled, to in developing the skills required to not only gain a career, but to be able to live independently, setting and achieving life goals.Again it was Managing Director, Craig Roberts, accompanied by Head of Recruitment, Tania Whitmarsh, who represented IBP in delivering a presentation on writing a proper CV as well as taking part in team building and trust exercises throughout the day.
Just as last time, the pair were struck by just how much these young people have gone through at only a young age, but how, despite that, were so desperate to work, and Craig and Tania both commented on how thrilled they were, to hear that every participant from the last event, has now managed to find either work, or entered full time education. A commendable achievement for this local charity.
“Doing these events has to be one of the most satisfying things about working in recruitment, how each and every one of the young adults we meet are just so enthusiastic about wanting to work, whatever the barriers they may face, and I was so happy to hear that the last entrants had managed to secure work or further education. I really can’t wait for the next event,” remarked Tania Whitmarsh, Head of Recruitment.
Seeing companies from local firms, to major corporations being involved is fantastic to see, and IBP are honoured to be a part of the process in seeing the Inner Flame candidates progress through the course.
Managing Director, Craig Roberts commented, “After attending the last event, we were really looking forward to returning to InnerFlame, as their core message aligns very closely with ours, in that when looking at people we want to hear their stories and understand that everyone has so much to offer, and these types of courses really remind me why we are Inspired by People.”
